ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Afua (pronounced Eh-fee-Ah). I grew up in the Chicago area, and it is where I currently live. I attended Columbia College Chicago, where I got my undergrad in Cinema Arts & Science with a focus in post-production. I have edited several short films, including one titled “71 seconds,” shown at the CineYouth Film Festival, which was shortlisted for the Student Academy Awards. I have also edited for programs that have aired on networks such as ESPN & CBS Sports. I currently work freelance in the Chicago area, and in my free time, I like to read, bake, cook, and support the Black Stars national team. Fun fact: I love sports jerseys. Even if I never watched the sport, I will get a jersey!
